“Nightmare Creatures” Series

I create these ink pieces all in one sitting with little to no planning beforehand - the antithesis of how I tend to work on my paintings. I use them to explore the visual representation of a feeling or emotion, sometimes paired with a short poetical phrase. Working with inerasable ink marks keeps me honest and malleable in my greater creative process.
